Blue Backdrop Testing

Felt like posting a few pictures tonight.

I decided to use the blue backdrop that came with my diffuser tent. It was “cool” (you saw what I did there right, RIGHT?!). What ended up happening though was that it started to become a bit of a pain to edit. Since its value is close to that of a lower one, any time I would change the darks/shadows/blacks, the value of the blue backdrop would also increase. Thankfully there are individual color settings that I can control as well. I really really do like how the blue backdrop looks though.

At a distance, the blue backdrop really makes a nice background that’s both easy to the eyes and gives a little more color to the image. Despite the fact that it was a bit of a pain to use, I’ll definitely look for another opportunity to use this backdrop.
