Well, it’s been a loooong time since I’ve updated this blog, hasn’t it? I’m hoping to change that up in the next upcoming days. For now, however, I’ll just drop an audio blog. Hope you guys enjoy!

  1. Well, here we are, almost 1/3 of the way through the year. I’ve had this on my to-do list since the moment it came out, yet it took me this long to get to it. A testament to how quickly the year can move if one has his hands full, be it through colorful experiences or gray monotony. But at the very least, this delay lets me ask,

    So, how is it going?

Another year. The past few years have been more or less like this for you, as you mentioned in the video. Store-life, Sakura-con, little things that blend together… and then it’s time to make a New Years resolution. I completely agree with you, such occasions serve as important benchmarks for our lives; it would be a waste not to take the time to consider a proper goal for, as you said, the bigger picture.

The goals you identified in the videos I believe will really be key to enriching your life. I know that you don’t have a lot of breathing room with the store, but I feel that you are pretty good at making the best of what you do have and make the time to be productive when you earnestly want something done. If you are able to overcome the roadblocks/walls with regards to waking up and such, I feel that you will find yourself with more and more opportunities to *do* things that are memorable and worthy of you being proud of them.

I find it telling that the events you remember the most are those that happen to your friends. I find it telling that you are able to take just as much pride in their accomplishments as you are able to take in your own. It takes a special personality to have that capacity. Understand too then that your friends hope the best for you too and that they hope to be proud of your accomplishments as well. Use this as motivation to accomplish something wonderful.

Your friend who has your back, no matter how far away. Here’s to an eventful year.
