Sakura-Con 2013: Day 0

Posted on

I had to woke up early only because the latest train would go out at 8:25am. After getting ready to head out, I got out and began to drive to the train station. I’ve been there several times now and I will never tire of it. It’s always nice to be able to just be able to relax and listen to music while taking the train. No worries about driving whatsoever. If I could, I would take the train so much more often.

The Conference Center wouldn’t open until another three hours so I decided to roam around Uwajimaya and wherever else in the mean time. Unfortunately as it got closer to the time where I should be waiting in line, I started to get lost. I managed to find the area and felt dumb afterwards. In the meantime, I just sat around. It took a little while but we finally got our badges.

After I left the convention center, I realized that the next train to leave wasn’t going to be for another three hours. So I went around the book store in Uwajimaya and bought myself a nendroid figure. It’s of Aozaki Aoi. I’ve been wanting to get it but never really felt like it until I saw it in the book store. So I grabbed it and got a manga book for my sister and a book full of cherry blossom pictures for my mother. After that, there was still a lot of time left even after eating at the Korean restaurant inside the store (which, by the way, is not that great). So as I waited around, I just took random pictures around me. Finally got home and then slept early for the con. And cause I’m lazy and need to sleep for the next day, I’m just gonna upload the pictures in one spot.
